# Contact support

> Reach the support team from Hirify, with the details that help them handle your request

You reach support from inside the app, in a conversation linked to your account. A request with the right details in the first message saves back-and-forth.

## Start a conversation

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open your menu">
    Click your name at the bottom of the sidebar.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Open the chat">
    Choose **Contact support**. The chat window opens over the screen you're on.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Describe the problem">
    Write what you expected, what you got, and where. You can keep using Hirify during the conversation.
  </Step>
</Steps>

## What to include

Support can't see your screen. These four details are usually enough to handle a request without further back-and-forth.

* **The interview concerned**: its title and date, or the page address if you have it open. A title alone is often ambiguous.
* **The status shown**: copy it exactly, whether it's **Too short**, **Assistant not admitted**, or **Failed**. When you can hover over it, the message that appears on hover is even more useful.
* **How it was recorded**: a pasted video meeting link, an address added to a calendar invite, scheduling from the **Calendar**, a QR code in person, a phone call, or an interview coming from your ATS.
* **When it happened**: the approximate date and time of the interview or of the action that failed.

<Note>
  If your request is about an ATS connection, say which ATS and describe what its connection card shows in **Settings**, then **Integrations**.
</Note>

## Track your organization's requests

Administrators and billing admins have a page that gathers all of the organization's exchanges with support.

From the user menu, open **Support requests**. The table lists each request in five columns: **Status**, **Request**, **Category**, **Requested by**, and **Last activity**. A counter above it sums everything up, for example "12 requests · 3 open".

Each row has an **Open** or **Resolved** status and one category among **Incident**, **Bug**, **Question**, **Billing**, **Feature request**, and **Other**. A request that isn't classified yet shows as **Uncategorized**. Once support has replied, the reply appears under the request's title, after **Support reply**.

As long as no exchange has taken place, the page shows "No support requests yet."

<Note>
  This page is for reading only. You don't reply from it. The conversation itself stays in the chat.
</Note>

## When you can't open Hirify anymore

The chat lives inside the app. If you can no longer sign in, or if an administrator of your organization deactivated your account, write to `support@hirify.fr` from your account's email address.

<Warning>
  A deactivated account is reactivated by an administrator of your organization. Start with them. It's often the fastest way.
</Warning>

## Good to know

* Never send a password, an access token, or an integration key in a support conversation. Revoke a compromised token from **Settings**, then **Security**.
* Request tracking is limited to administrators and billing admins. Other members use the chat.
* Support doesn't access your interviews on its own initiative. Describe what you see rather than assuming they see it too.
* A resolved request stays visible in tracking with the **Resolved** status.
* The menu under your name also has a **Help center** entry, which opens this documentation in a new tab.
