Disconnecting a tool stops the data exchange with Hirify. Depending on the tool, it’s reversible in one click or it takes data with it. This page covers what each one involves. Everything happens in Settings, then Integrations.

Disconnect your calendar

The Calendars section lists Google Calendar and Microsoft Outlook. The one connected to your account shows the address used. The Disconnect button is on the same row.
1

Open the Calendars section

In Settings, then Integrations.
2

Click Disconnect

On the row of the connected calendar.
What happens next:
  • Hirify stops reading your calendar and the connection is turned off.
  • Your upcoming appointments no longer feed Hirify, and the meeting assistant is no longer scheduled for you from an appointment.
  • Interviews already recorded, their transcripts, and their interview notes aren’t affected.
The calendar connection is personal. Disconnecting yours doesn’t disconnect your colleagues’ calendars.

Switch calendars

Only one calendar is active at a time. While one of the two is connected, the other row stays inactive and shows Active calendar: followed by the name of the calendar in place. To switch, first disconnect the active one, then connect the other. To reconnect later, use the Connect button again.

Disconnect your ATS

This is reserved for the organization’s administrators and billing admins, and it applies to everyone. The connection belongs to the organization, not to a member.
1

Open the ATS section

In Settings, then Integrations.
2

Click Disconnect

On the card of the connected ATS.
3

Read the confirmation window

It says: “This removes the connection and stops syncing. By default, data already synced is kept.”
4

Decide what happens to the data

Leave the box unchecked to keep the data, or check it to delete everything.
5

Confirm

The button reads Disconnect, or Disconnect and delete if you checked the box.

Simple disconnect

Sync stops, the saved credentials are erased, and the connection becomes inactive. The candidates, jobs, applications, and interviews already imported stay in Hirify. These also stop working:
  • sharing the analysis
  • summary tags
  • field filling
  • automatic publishing of the analysis with Teamtailor
  • sending the meeting assistant to appointments from your ATS
The Job families page goes back to its empty state.

Disconnect and delete the data

The checkbox is explicit: Also delete synced candidates, jobs and ATS data.
This can’t be undone. It’s meant to answer a data protection request or to clean up a test environment. The transcripts and interview notes produced by Hirify aren’t affected.
This deletes:
  • the imported candidates, jobs, applications, interviews, evaluations, and attachments
  • the appointments created from your ATS interviews

Switch ATS

Only one connection is active per organization. While an ATS is connected, the other cards show an inactive Connect button and the explanation: “Only one ATS can be connected at a time. Disconnect the current one to switch.”

Good to know

  • Disconnecting doesn’t cancel a subscription. That’s handled on your subscription page.
  • Disconnecting an ATS doesn’t remove anything Hirify wrote there. Evaluations, tags, and fields already sent stay there. Your tool owns them.
  • A reconnection starts over with a full sync. After deleting the data, Hirify reimports what your ATS exposes over the period this import covers. The oldest records may not come back.
  • If deleting the data fails, Hirify tells you. The connection is turned off, but support has to run the purge again.
  • Disconnecting a calendar offers no deletion option. There’s no checkbox in that section.
  • A member who is neither an administrator nor a billing admin doesn’t see the ATS section of the Integrations page, and so can’t disconnect the ATS.

Connect your calendar

Set up a calendar again, or switch to another one.
