Open the analysis
On an interview page, click Analysis in the vertical bar on the right. The panel opens under the title Candidate analysis. You can widen the panel by dragging its left edge. The width you choose is kept for your next interviews. The header: the verdict and why
The top of the panel doesn’t scroll. It shows the candidate’s first name and current job, then the verdict and the sentence that justifies it. There are five possible verdicts: Strong match, Likely match, Match to weigh, Weak match, and Not enough data. The verdict describes the fit with the job, never the person. It’s what the analysis can back up with its quotes. The rest is up to you.
To decide
This is the only list you need to read in full. It gathers what isn’t settled: reservations raised during the interview, gaps between what was said and what the CV shows, and blocking points. Click a line to expand it. Depending on the item, you’ll find the details, a side-by-side Interview / CV comparison when the two contradict each other, and the original quote. Two badges appear only on items that state an unfavorable fact: Deal-breaker and CV mismatch.Covered
The counterpart of the previous list: what the interview established and doesn’t need checking again. Lines expand the same way. Some lines are marked “Noted by the recruiter”. They expand like the others.Legal watch-outs
This section only appears when a criterion protected by article L1132-1 of the French Labor Code came up during the interview. It’s a safeguard, not a reproach. Each line names the criterion. Expanded, it specifies the nature of the exchange: a question asked during the interview, a remark made during the interview, or a topic brought up spontaneously by the candidate. It then summarizes the exchange, shows the quote, and reminds you that this criterion can’t be the basis of a hiring decision. When the topic came from the candidate, the line adds “Leave this out of the decision”. These alerts describe how the interview was conducted. They’re not part of the verdict, nor of the To decide and Covered lists.Trace an item back to its quote
Under an expanded item, click Show quote. An inset shows the quoted passage with the turns just before and after it, the speaker’s name, and the timestamp. You can judge a statement without leaving the panel. If the excerpt isn’t enough, click Open in transcript. Hirify switches to the Transcript tab and highlights the passage. The profile
Everything that isn’t the verdict or the decision is filed under Profile, collapsed by default. When you open it, you’ll find:- To verify: points to check after the interview.
- Practical details: availability, location, and salary expectations.
- Career: jobs, projects, education, skills, and languages.
- Motivations & processes.
When the analysis isn’t ready yet
Right after the interview, the panel shows Analysis in progress and the list of steps under way. It fills in without you having to reload the page. If it fails, the panel shows Analysis unavailable or “The analysis didn’t complete”. The Run the analysis again button only appears if the interview itself can be used. When the recording failed, the interview is too short, or the meeting assistant was never admitted to the meeting, the panel only invites you to contact support.Good to know
- The analysis helps you read the interview. It isn’t a decision. Hirify doesn’t rank candidates and doesn’t recommend any next step. See AI at Hirify.
- A section with no content doesn’t show at all. A panel without Legal watch-outs simply means no criterion came up.
- The analysis covers what was said during the interview, plus the CV when you uploaded it. It doesn’t pull information from anywhere else.
- Run the analysis again is only offered when the analysis failed. After renaming a speaker, you regenerate the interview notes and Key takeaways instead, from the banner that offers it.
- By default, the interview notes and the evaluation only go to your ATS if you send them from the interview’s ATS panel, after confirming. Some automations are the exception, described in ATS automations. They’re off by default, and an administrator or a billing admin turns them on in Settings > Integrations, on the connection:
- Automatic tags: adds summary tags to the candidate’s profile after each analyzed interview.
- Fill in ATS fields: fills in custom fields that are still empty and notifies you.
- Publish the analysis automatically: with the Teamtailor Hirify card, sends the analysis and the interview notes to the candidate’s profile as soon as the interview ends.
